On Tuesday 23 June, UCL School of Management is partnering with CIV:LAB for London Climate Action Week, a global platform dedicated to accelerating climate solutions through collaboration, dialogue, and innovation.
London has the research, the capital, and the ecosystem, yet early-stage climate innovation rarely reaches citywide scale. The gap isn’t funding or ambition, it’s the missing infrastructure to move ideas from pilot to city. Community-level resilience initiatives often sit within a “missing middle”, struggling to align with traditional venture capital models or meet the scale required by infrastructure investors.
This summit names that gap and convenes the people who can close it: a focused, invitation-led gathering at Level 50, One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, bridging founders, financiers, institutions, and civic leaders around one question, what will it actually take?
The evening will feature a fireside chat and two panel discussions exploring solution creation, real-world deployment, capital scaling, financing resilience, and energy security, followed by networking drinks and canapés.
