School of Management Alumnus gets backing from Unilever

UCL School of Management Alumnus Paul Varga, who setup Playbrush, has signed a deal with consumer goods giant Unilever.

Paul, who studied MSc Entrepreneurship (formerly MSc Technology Entrepreneurship) back in 2013, has negotiated the deal which will see a co-branded version of the product launched in France later this year.

Playbrush is a gadget that makes a game out of using a toothbrush. It motivates children to brush their teeth making it exciting and fun, using instructional mobile games that are connected to a specially designed add-on for conventional toothbrushes.

“Our cooperation with Unilever is another great step in the Playbrush journey,” said Paul. “It helps us to bring even more Playbrushes to children out there and support them with their daily oral care.”

“The School’s MSc in Entrepreneurship obviously had a strong influence on Playbrush, as I met my current Co-Founder Tolulope there. Also the programme provides a decent toolkit to evaluate opportunities quickly and is very action-ortentated and practical.”
