UCL Centre for Sustainable Business (UCL CSB) held its Annual Conference and inaugral awards ceremony at the UCL School of Management, a flagship event bringing together academics, business leaders and sustainability practitioners to discuss how innovation and AI are transforming the future of sustainable business.
The evening, on Friday 7th November 2025, was opened by the Centre’s Co-Directors, Professor Paolo Taticchi and Professor Onesun Steve Yoo and two keynote speeches delivered by Elisa Moscolin (Executive Vice President of Sustainability at Sage) and Hilary Tam (Sustainability Leader for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at AWS).
A cross-sector panel on sustainable transformation followed, with Henry Wang 王國興 (International Author, Advisor & Speaker), Jaclyn Kaminski (Global Head of Sustainability at International Workplace Group), and Catrina Daly (Manager at UCL CSB).
The evening also featured a presentation of the UN Global Compact “Trailblazers & Transformers” report by Lily Venables (Senior Project Manager for the UN Global Compact) with Poli Pencheva (Senior Research Fellow at UCL), before concluding with the inaugral UCL CSB Awards Ceremony.
Earlier in October, the Centre received a wide range of award submissions from organisations and sustainability champions. After review by a panel of six judges (four from UCL and two external experts), finalists were shortlisted across seven categories, with Highly Commended and Winner announcements made live on the night.

The evening concluded with networking drinks and canapés, offering an excellent opportunity to connect with sustainability leaders and innovators, gain global perspectives, celebrate excellence through the UCL CSB Awards and enjoy views of London’s skyline from Level 50 at Canary Wharf.

The UCL CSB Awards are now an annual fixture in the School’s calendar, showcasing the people, partnerships and ideas turning sustainability into strategy, performance and lasting impact.
