Biography

With expertise across the built environment - from real estate development to construction - Tom has led complex international projects and programmes. Alongside consulting experience in strategy and transactions, and project and transformation management, Tom is experienced in knowledge development and thought leadership. Tom founded the UCL Sustainability Lab in 2022 - a sustainability-focused platform for students and industry partners to tackle grand business challenges. The Lab is focused on building an impactful link between academia and industry, and offers Consulting Projects, as well as a Seminar Series and Working Groups in Construction, Finance, Management Consulting and Technology.

Additionally, Tom co-founded the UCL MBA Mentorship Scheme, an initiative that connects MBA Candidates and Alumni, to UCL students - providing industry-specific knowledge and access to networks that support skill development and expertise in their targeted sector. As a member of the Alumni Advisory Council, Tom aspires to strengthen the relationship between the UCL alumni community and current students. Building on the successes of both the Sustainability Lab and Mentoring Scheme, Tom intends to develop impactful networking and volunteering opportunities for both alumni and students, in order to strengthen the School of Management community and its link to industry.
