Tyler is a Doctoral Researcher at University College London’s Department of Experimental Psychology and a Visiting Researcher in the Organisations and Innovation Group at the UCL School of Management. Prior to beginning his doctoral journey, Tyler spent nearly a decade working in the industry. Most recently, during a 3-year tenure at Meta, he led Future of Work & Team Effectiveness programming for Meta’s 70,000+ employee workforce.
He received his MSc in Applied Behavioural Sciences / Industrial-Organisational Psychology from the University of Baltimore, and a BSc in Psychology from Illinois State University. He studies the unique tensions that surface when colleagues with opposing ideologies have to depend on each other, the trade-offs people make in response, and the downstream effects on organisations.
